2009: Trunkey Creek Sheepdog Trial (1/5/09 - 3/5/09)

Trunkey Creek, the tiny attractive, quiet old goldmining village, south of Bathurst on the road to Abercrombie Caves flourished to life with the activity of the Trunkey Creek Sheepdog Trial. The event which was sponsored by Dogpro, was well enjoyed offering good entertainment over three days. Special congratulations goes to the sports well respected dog handler from Bredbo, Will Goggin who won the Open Trial. Other performances which were also impressive was that of Laurie Slatter taking out both the Improver and Novice Trials, and Greg Gunning for claiming 1st place in the Encourage Trial.
